Pitch and logic model

Description:

Integration into a new team

For this project, I joined a team that had already conducted the needs analysis, which required a rapid adaptation effort to assimilate the content and effectively contribute to the development of the logic model. Developing the logic model was the first step in structuring our solution. Working as a team, we defined the objectives, inputs, activities and expected results. This collaborative process clarified our approach and allowed us to align our pitch with a coherent and compelling vision.

Technological challenge

One of the criteria for judging the project was the originality of the presentation format. Rather than opting for a traditional screen-sharing presentation on Zoom, I proposed to my team to take on a technical challenge by creating a dynamic pitch integrating video, audio and images in a professional manner. Using a combination of specialized software and hardware like OBS Studio, NVIDIA Broadcast and my many screens, I designed a presentation environment that allowed me to seamlessly switch between my camera, videos, images and sound effects in real time.

Hours of practice

This immersive staging required many hours of testing and rehearsals, particularly to optimize the media sequence and avoid technical latencies. The configuration of the workstation was complex, because the order in which the software was opened influenced the responsiveness of the microphone and camera. Despite this learning curve, the experience proved extremely enriching.

My peers’ evaluation confirmed that this innovative approach had captured attention and maximized the impact of the message. This experience not only strengthened my communication skills, but also allowed me to acquire advanced mastery of technological tools for the dissemination of interactive and engaging content.

The importance of teamwork

Developing the logic model highlighted the importance of collaboration and the complementarity of skills within a team. Integrating a group that had already worked on needs analysis required rapid adaptation, but also effective communication to align our visions. This process taught me how to structure a solution in a coherent and strategic way, taking into account everyone's contributions. The experience strengthened my ability to work in a team on complex projects, a key skill in any educational and technological innovation approach.

Skills developed through pitching

Producing the pitch was an enriching experience that allowed me to combine my oral communication skills with an advanced technological approach. The integration of the seven necessary software programs required careful planning and constant adaptation, allowing me to acquire essential technical reflexes to manage interactive presentations in real time.

This approach came with its share of technical problems that I was able to overcome. This ability to quickly solve technical problems in real situations is a valuable skill in any online training or digital broadcasting context.

This experience demonstrated that a well-thought-out and technologically optimized presentation can transform a message into a memorable experience. The positive evaluation from my peers confirms that this approach can be successfully applied in various educational and professional contexts.

Finally, I planned another camera during the presentation in order to offer here the technical point of view and to add it to the final presentation. This allows to demonstrate the complexity of the synchronization and the sequence of steps hidden behind the presentation. Enjoy watching!
